Our Admissions Advisors can answer questions about Purdue Global transfer credit, programs, career opportunities, financial aid, next steps to enroll, and more. Your advisor can also help you determine if there are any test-out options or other prior credit sources to consider.

If you’re interested in seeing how your credits might transfer into a Purdue Global program, you can work with your advisor to request an unofficial credit evaluation. To begin the process, submit your unofficial (or official) transcripts and select a program of interest. Your advisor will reach out to you within three business days to go over your unofficial degree plan so you can see right away how your credits add up and how close they may get you to graduation.

To begin the process of having your prior learning courses evaluated, contact each of your prior institutions and request that your official transcript be sent directly from your prior institution to the Office of the Registrar at Document@PurdueGlobal.edu or by mail to:

Student-issued transcripts and transcripts submitted via fax are not accepted as official.

After you submit your official transcript(s) we will evaluate each one upon arrival to Purdue Global. Then, you can review your degree plan and connect with an advisor to discuss your progress toward completion of a Purdue Global degree.

If you are still enrolled at another institution, you’ll need to send additional official transcripts after your final grades and/or degree has been posted.

In our orientation course, you’ll get hands-on practice in the virtual classroom, and learn how to participate in discussion boards, submit assignments, and take exams. In addition, orientation will give you tips on how to be a successful online student.

Employment and Career Advancement: Purdue Global does not guarantee employment placement, salary level, or career advancement. ExcelTrack^®: ExcelTrack^® is available for select programs. Degree pace and time and cost savings will vary by individual.

Financial Aid: Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Financial aid awards vary depending on individual student eligibility and need.

Guaranteed Admissions: General undergraduate university admission to Purdue Global is guaranteed following completion of the following requirements: must complete an ITCC associate degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or greater and must complete all Purdue Global admissions requirements. An official transcript noting conferred degree and minimum GPA must be submitted to Purdue Global no later than the end of the student's first term of enrollment at Purdue Global. Note: These are general requirements for applicants seeking admission. Visit the individual school sections for program-specific admissions requirements. Students should inquire with a Purdue Global advisor or admissions representative for further details.

Ivy Tech Achievement Scholarship: Ivy Tech transfer students who have a conferred Ivy Tech associate’s degree (not earned by reverse transfer) and meet eligibility requirements will receive the Ivy Tech Achievement Scholarship. The Scholarship is a 21% reduction in cost compared to the in-state student cost for undergraduate students. Each quarter credit hour is reduced to $220 and resource fees are waived. ExcelTrack^® programs, Google certificates, and the BS in Professional Flight program are excluded from the Ivy Tech Achievement Scholarship. LRC100 Portfolio Course: Credits are not guaranteed through this process. A minimum 5+ years of work experience is recommended for taking this course to better ensure you have eligible work experience. See the University Catalog for the Prior Learning policy. Credits awarded apply toward a Purdue Global undergraduate program.

Prior Learning Credit: Purdue Global does not guarantee transferability of credit. Future transfer credit savings are subject to review and the academic policies of Purdue Global. See the University Catalog for Prior Learning policy. Graduate programs are not eligible for credit for experience.

Textbooks: Not all courses require textbooks; some use electronic instructional materials. Books and course materials are included in the price of tuition for all undergraduate courses. Graduate students are responsible for the cost of textbooks/instructional materials.

Three-Week Trial: Students who inform Purdue Global they do not wish to pursue the program during the 3-week trial will not be charged. Students who choose to continue at Purdue Global will be billed for the full first term's tuition, including the 3-week trial, and will need to meet other specific requirements. Classes will be applied toward a degree if satisfactorily completed and students select to continue their studies at Purdue Global. No credits are earned if the student withdraws during the introductory period (3 weeks for new qualifying undergraduate students), which begins day one of the first term. Graduate programs and BS in Professional Flight not included. Additional terms may apply to international and non-U.S. citizen students. For further information, see the University Catalog.
