Health educators solve community health issues by designing and implementing educational programs that promote healthy lifestyles and behaviors.
Health educator responsibilities may include grant writing, resource evaluations, referrals, social marketing and media, health advocacy, community organizing, developing training methods and materials, and publishing.

You can complete onsite fieldwork as an elective to help you gain valuable on-the-job experience. You will work closely with a site preceptor, faculty advisor, and supportive staff every step of the way.
