The Last Lecture will be presented virtually by a Purdue Global professor nominated by the graduating class. A virtual toast to the class of 2021 will immediately follow the lecture.

*It is recommended that graduates and guests refrain from booking travel accommodations until after the ceremony registration opens.

Purdue University Global commencement will take place Decmber 4, 2021. Specific ceremony times will be determined for each registered graduate after the participation deadline. Commencement may be change to virtual at any time based on Center for Disease Control (CDC) or local government guidelines regarding COVID-19. In the event of a schedule change or cancellation, Purdue Global is not responsible for reimbursing travel costs or other expenses associated with commencement. Registered ceremony participants and attendees assume all financial and health risks associated with attending commencement.

Purdue Global commencement attendees must abide by all COVID-19 guidelines as outlined by the university, venue, local government, and CDC. All attendees must wear a face covering, practice social distancing, and may be screened prior to entry in the building, including but not limited to temperature checks.

Participation in commencement is not a verification of graduation. Candidates receive their diploma approximately 8 weeks after completion of their final class and once all program and financial requirements have been confirmed by University Officials.

The Purdue University Global Commencement and related events will be broadcast live online and all attendees, participants' names, hometowns, military branch (if applicable), videos, and photos will be photographed, videotaped, or filmed by authorized parties. The attendance of all participants and guests and the commencement registration of all participants, submission of photos/videos, participation in the graduation ceremony, participation in the graduation week events and/or virtual activities, including but not limited to hangout sessions, Graduation Shout Out Board, and Photo Booth, serve as permission for use of these names, images, and posts by Purdue Global. Commercial photography or filming is prohibited without permission of Purdue Global.
