All activities will take place on February 27, 2020. Depending on the number of attendees, we may hold two ceremonies, and graduates will be assigned a ceremony based on his or her program of study. Graduates traveling to the ceremony should plan to arrive on Wednesday, February 26, and book return flights on Friday, February 28. The full schedule will be available in early December.

*Traffic in Los Angeles is typically heavy, so allow ample time if driving or using an Uber or taxi.

Tickets

All graduates and their guests over the age of 3 years will require tickets for entry to commencement on Thursday, February 27, 2020. Upon registration, an email confirmation including the requested tickets will be sent to the graduate’s Purdue Global email.

Guest Limit

3 guests per graduate. During the registration process, graduates will select 1 ticket for themselves and up to 3 tickets for their guests.

Waitlist Tickets

Sign up for waitlist tickets during the registration process. Waitlist tickets are dependent on available space after registration closes and are not guaranteed. Those on the waitlist will be contacted in mid-January to advise if additional tickets are available. Waitlist spots will be filled in the order that graduates signed up.

Eligibility

Students whose final term ends on or before Wednesday, February 26, 2020, are eligible to participate in this ceremony. Students with final terms ending after February 26, 2020, will be eligible for the next ceremony held after their final term ends.

Graduation Registration

Review the instructions below to register by Thursday, January 9, 2020. Late registrations will not be accepted.

    Registration for this ceremony is open to those whose final terms will be complete by February 26, 2020. Work with your Student Advisor to schedule your final courses to be completed by February 26 to attend this ceremony.

    To begin, go to the registration site, and then click "Graduate Login."

  • Step 2: Enter Your Information

    Enter your university email address and Student ID number in the fields.

    Note: Your University email is your student username followed by “@student.purdueglobal.edu.” If you do not know your Student ID number, log in to your student portal page, click the “My Account” tab, and then click “My Information.” Your student ID will show in the “Security Information” section.

  • Step 3: Select Tickets

    Select the February ceremony, view ceremony details and deadlines, and then select your ticket amount.

    • Select up to 3 tickets for guests attending with you.
    • Select up to 3 additional waitlist tickets. Waitlist tickets are not guaranteed.
    • Select 1 ticket for yourself. This ticket cannot be used by one of your guests.
  • Step 4: Print Tickets

    Click “Continue” and follow instructions to print your tickets or email them to your guests. Tickets will also be sent in a confirmation email to your University email address. You may log in to the registration site at any time to view and print your tickets.

    Important: All graduate and guest tickets will be scanned upon entry at the theater. Each ticket has a unique code that can only be scanned once. If copies are made, only the first one scanned will be allowed entry. All others will be denied.

New Virtual Participation Pilot Program

Purdue Global is launching an exciting pilot program for graduates to participate in the ceremony via virtual reality. Virtual participants will have a 360-degree view of marching into the theater, crossing the stage, and those final “We did it!” moments. This pilot program has a very limited number of spots available; please express your interest before January 9, 2020. Sign up for the virtual participation pilot.

Order through Jostens by Thursday, January 9, 2020. All caps and gowns are black, and all tassels are black and gold. Master’s and doctorate’s gowns come with hoods that are color-coded by degree, and doctorate gowns have degree-color velvet strips. If you are unsure which major to select, visit the Caps and Gowns page to view a list of degrees and corresponding Jostens selections.

All graduates are required to have a reader card that displays their name and degree, which will be used to call out their name when they cross the stage. Reader cards will be mailed out with the Graduation Event Guide to the shipping address in your student file as of January 9, 2020.
