The Bachelor's in Health Information Management Is Accredited by CAHIIM

The Health Information Management accreditor of Purdue Global is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). The College’s accreditation for the Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management has been reaffirmed through 2028–2029. For the reporting period August 1, 2023, to July 31, 2024, Purdue Global reported the following outcomes in the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) Annual Program Assessment Report (APAR):
- Graduate satisfaction: 100%
- Completion rate: full-time, 71.11%; part-time, 6.67%
- Employment rate: 82%
Additionally, Purdue Global reports the following retention rate in alignment with attrition numbers reported in the APAR: 77.99%.
CAHIIM Digital Health Professional Certificate

Completion of five required courses in the BSHIM program may qualify you to earn the CAHIIM Digital Health Professional (DHP) Certificate. The Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) is the accreditor of Purdue Global's DHP certificate program. The DHP program’s accreditation has been affirmed through 2030–2031.
