College Credit for Professional Certifications and Training
Turn your career accomplishments into the college credits you deserve. Industry training certifications and on-the-job training could help you graduate sooner.
See Notes and Conditions below for important information.
Externally Evaluated Professional Learning
If you completed a professional training, certification, or licensure program, you may be eligible for direct credit. If the program you completed has been reviewed and approved by an external organization for college credit, those credits are eligible for evaluation toward your Purdue Global degree.
The American Council on Education (ACE) and the National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS) are Purdue Global-approved college credit evaluation agencies. Learning approved for college credits may include formal educational examinations, programs, and courses offered by organizations for their employees, members, or customers. These organizations may include business and industry, labor unions, professional and voluntary associations, schools, training suppliers, and government agencies.
If you completed an externally evaluated program, you can submit your transcript to the Purdue Global Office of the Registrar for evaluation.
Purdue Global Evaluated Professional Learning
If you completed a professional training, certification, or licensure program that has not been reviewed by an external organization, you may still be eligible for direct credit at Purdue Global. In addition to accepting the recommendations of select external agencies, Purdue Global faculty have reviewed and approved select learning programs as eligible for direct college credit.
If a Purdue Global faculty team has approved your training as eligible for credit, you can submit your training record to the Purdue Global Office of the Registrar for evaluation. Speak with an Advisor today to see if we have a credit opportunity in place for your training.
See below for some of our current credit opportunities.
