You’ve made it your mission to graduate. At the Office for Returning Students, our main goal is to help you achieve it. We’re here to make your return to Purdue Global as seamless as possible. We’ll answer your questions, walk you through the returning student process, and direct you to the resources that’ll make your time at Purdue Global a successful one.

Who Is Considered a Returning Student?

A returning student is someone who was previously enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or professional-level degree program and wants to restart their studies after separating from the University.

Our Office for Returning Students has a team of experienced and professional Admissions Advisors who are available to answer all of your questions and assist you with your re-enrollment.

Call the Office for Returning Students and speak to an Admissions Advisor to go over your eligibility to return and your admissions requirements.

If your eligibility to re-enroll has been confirmed by your Admissions Advisor, complete the paperwork necessary to re-enroll at Purdue Global. Your Advisor will guide you through the process, based on your specific needs.

Complete your registration and meet with the Office of Student Support. They’ll help you plan your upcoming class schedule and prepare for your return.

If you have earned an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree from any Purdue institution, the alumni tuition reduction program could lower the cost of your Purdue Global degree by 20%.

Drop or Dismissal Student Questions

We have a dedicated team focused on helping Purdue Global returning students. To get started, speak to an Admissions Advisor in the Office for Returning Students about your eligibility and requirements.

As a Purdue Global returning student, you get priority transcript evaluations.

To begin the process, contact each of your prior institutions and request that they send your official transcript directly to the Office of the Registrar at Document@PurdueGlobal.edu or by mail to:

Credit for Prior Learning: Purdue Global does not guarantee transferability of credit from any source. Testing option may not apply to all courses. Credit for work experience and military training does not apply to graduate programs. See the University Catalog for the Prior Learning policy.
