Purdue Global nursing programs receive national reaccreditation

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Several degree and advanced certificate programs offered by Purdue Global School of Nursing received reaccreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
The master’s degree program in nursing and postgraduate advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) certificate programs at Purdue Global are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The APRN certificate programs include family nurse practitioner, adult-gerontology acute care, adult-gerontology primary care and psychiatric mental health.
Reaccreditation for the programs is valid for 10 years, the maximum term granted to higher education nursing programs. The reaccreditations show that the nursing programs substantially complied with all accreditation standards.
“These reaccreditations show Purdue Global’s nursing faculty and staff provide our students with quality, up-to-date material and resources, especially as healthcare providers look for ways to increase access to care,” said Marlo Robinson, dean and vice president of the School of Nursing. “Our students and alumni enter the workforce well prepared for licensure, clinical practice, advanced use of healthcare technology and providing people in their communities with quality healthcare.”
