Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies Overview
Purdue Global's online liberal studies degree is designed for people with prior learning credits and an interest in customizing a program to meet their personal and professional interests.
This flexible degree-completion program allows you to play an active role in choosing courses that support your specific goals. Choose a combination of electives from several disciplines to build skills relevant to your chosen field. This degree is also an excellent choice for military students, students with transfer credit, and students with experiential learning credit, as prior learning credits can apply toward up to 75% of the program's requirements.*
During the first term, you will develop an Individualized Learning Plan under the guidance of a faculty advisor, which includes a career goal statement and outlines the coursework you will complete as part of your degree plan. An optional internship enables you to gain valuable real-world experience while you earn your liberal studies degree.
Accelerated Master’s Degree Options
You can work toward a Purdue Global master’s degree in public administration, educational psychology, human services, legal studies, or psychology while you earn your online bachelor’s of liberal studies. Complete both your bachelor’s and master’s degrees in less time and at a lower cost than completing both programs separately. For details and eligibility requirements, speak to an Advisor.
