The TRIO Veterans Student Support Services (VSSS) program at Purdue Global is a federally funded initiative through the U.S. Department of Education that provides personalized academic, personal, and career support to military veterans, reservists, and active duty personnel from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Our mission is simple: keep veterans on track, breaking down academic barriers, driving retention and launching you seamlessly from military service into your bachelor's degree completion.
VSSS Services
VSSS services include but are not limited to:
- One-on-one academic coaching and goal assistance
- Academic development skills training and tutoring
- Assistance with issues related to military benefits
- Graduate and professional school preparation
- Financial literacy and scholarship workshops
Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility requirements include:
- A Veteran, Reservist, National Guard or Active Duty
- Current Purdue Global undergraduate student seeking first degree
- A first-generation college student*
- A financially limited college student*
- A student with a documented disability*
*Priority is given to students who meet one or more of these requirements.
