Eva Nodine, CPA

Eva Nodine leads Purdue Global as its Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for every academic, organizational and operational function at the university. Her connection to the university’s mission as Purdue’s online university for working adults goes back further than her title, though. As a first-generation student and a working mom, Nodine knows what it means to look at a college degree and wonder if the window of opportunity has passed. Her own path to higher education wasn’t a straight line. She needed a program that fit into the chaotic spaces between raising her boys and earning a living. When she found an online university 20 years ago to complete her bachelor’s degree, it didn’t just fit her life — it changed her entire trajectory, opening a door that had felt shut and reshaping the future for her and her sons alike. That experience is what drives her leadership today. 

Her journey to the CEO role began in finance, but she has always been driven by strategic leadership and transformation. Nodine most recently served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer at Purdue Global, following roles as Purdue University’s Vice President and Deputy Chief Financial Officer and as Assistant Treasurer of the Purdue Board of Trustees. Since joining Purdue in 2012, she has led major transformations across Purdue University’s financial systems, cash management, forecasting and fiscal planning — building on years in public accounting, where she practiced not-for-profit auditing and business tax. 

Nodine earned an MBA from Purdue University’s Mitch Daniels School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in accounting and forensic accounting from Franklin University. She has been a Certified Public Accountant in Indiana since 2008. 

In 2025, she won a 2025 INCPAS CPA Celebration Women to Watch award, recognized for her leadership across the accounting profession.
