Marlo D. Robinson is the dean and vice president of the School of Nursing at Purdue Global. She has over three decades of experience as a nurse educator, higher education executive leader and legal expert with a firm dedication to positively impact environments, people and policies.
Prior to serving in this current role, Robinson taught as an adjunct faculty member for more than a decade at Purdue Global before becoming dean and vice president. In concert, she also served as the executive dean of nursing at Concorde Colleges, responsible for the creation and management of the strategic plan for overall growth and development of nursing programs nationally. After earning her law degree, Robinson practiced commercial real estate, transaction and corporate law with a national law firm. She later served as in-house counsel at The Sports Authority.
Robinson provides legal insight for nurse-related matters through her membership in The American Association of Nurse Attorneys and has spoken at numerous national conferences. She has served as a curriculum reviewer and academic mentor for Sigma Theta Tau’s Leadership Academy. Robinson is co-author of a peer-reviewed article in The Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing.
