The first step in your journey is to create an account, and you do that as soon as you click “Apply Now.” From there, you’ll go through some essential onboarding questions and then land on “My Journey,” a page that guides you through the relevant application sections.

You can complete those sections in any order, so fill out all the details you have available. Once you’ve completed the program, prior education, and funding sections, you’ll be able to review, sign, and submit your admissions application.

If you have questions along the way, click the “Live Chat” button for guidance.

Right away, you’ll see that you can upload documents. Meanwhile, an Admissions Advisor will review your admissions application and contact you with specific next steps to ensure you’re well-prepared for your academic experience with Purdue Global.

Yes. The application takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, but work at a pace that suits you best. Once you create an account, you can come back and finish your application at any time.

There are no documents required to submit your application. The documents you will need to provide thereafter will depend on whether you want to transfer credit, to which program you are applying, and what funding options you select.

Purdue Global accepts eligible transfer credits from regionally and nationally accredited colleges and universities that are applicable to your specific program.

While completing your application, you'll have an opportunity to indicate whether you have prior college or college-equivalent credits. Once you submit your application, you’ll need to provide transcripts so that you receive as much credit as possible for your past coursework.

If you are at least 16 years of age and meet all other criteria, you may seek the approval of the dean of the school you wish to enter. Both you and your parent/guardian will be required to sign your admissions application.

100% Online: Some Purdue Global programs are not 100% online; some programs require you to gain hands-on experience in a real-world work environment. Contact an Admissions Advisor for additional information. 

Credit for Prior Learning: Purdue Global does not guarantee transferability of credit from any source. Testing option may not apply to all courses. Credit for work experience and military training does not apply to graduate programs. See the University Catalog for the Prior Learning policy.

Employment and Career Advancement: Purdue Global does not guarantee employment placement, salary level, or career advancement. Actual outcomes vary by geographic area, previous work experience, and opportunities for employment. Additional certification or licensing may be required to work in certain fields.

Three-Week Trial: Students who inform Purdue Global they do not wish to pursue the program during the 3-week trial will not be charged. Students who choose to continue at Purdue Global will be billed for the full first term's tuition, including the 3-week trial, and will need to meet other specific requirements. Classes will be applied toward a degree if satisfactorily completed and students select to continue their studies at Purdue Global. No credits are earned if the student withdraws during the introductory period (3 weeks for new qualifying undergraduate students), which begins day one of the first term.
