David Walker is one motivated individual. For 10 years, he worked two full-time jobs as a systems administrator. On top of that, he became ordained as a minister and started his own church in the Cincinnati area.
As a result of the recession in 2010, David had to pursue a new career. Having a strong passion for technology, he enrolled in Purdue Global with a goal to earn an associate’s degree in information technology.
After earning an associate’s degree in 2012, David landed a job as a helpdesk technician. “Kaplan [University] is one of the best schools out there for getting a good start on your career,” said David.
He continued his education at Purdue Global even after completing his associate’s degree, earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in information technology. He graduated Purdue Global with a 3.78 GPA and was a member of two honor societies.
Today, David has a full-time job as a computer systems technician.
