Dr. Dee Strbiak
Dr. Dee Strbiak lives in Golden, Colorado, and is an undergraduate adjunct instructor for Purdue Global’s department of psychology.
Dee earned her doctorate in psychology from California Southern University in clinical and industrial/organizational psychology, her master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado in clinical psychology, and her bachelor’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Metropolitan State College of Denver.
Dee worked in private psychiatric hospitals and with the Department of Defense, helping to close U.S. Army Garrison Fitzsimons in Aurora, Colorado, and then moved into full-time private practice in 2000. She has worked in the areas of chemical dependency, business, trauma, and workplace violence for over 22 years.
Currently she is the director of a DUI treatment agency and is one of the directors of a nonprofit organization that provides resiliency training to law enforcement personnel. Dee is also a nationally certified shooting instructor with a specialization in sports psychology. She instructs new and experienced shooters and works with competitive clay shooters on their mental game to increase their peak performance.
Dee is currently writing a motivational book in the style of a fable about the life lessons a person can learn on the skeet field.
