Megan Bivens joined Purdue Global (formerly Kaplan University) as a full time faculty member in 2014. Her primary responsibility with Purdue Global is teaching in the RN-to-BSN program. She also serves as the School of Nursing faculty advisor, actively participates in faculty governance, and enjoys working with simulation in the online learning environment.
Prior to joining Purdue Global, Megan held the role of faculty member in LPN, RN, and RN-BSN programs. She also served as coordinator for a high fidelity simulation center in a face-to-face ADN program. She has worked in various areas of clinical nursing practice including labor and delivery, postpartum, operating room, medical-surgical (gynecology), and sick baby care.
Megan is a registered nurse in Florida and Iowa. She holds a degree in nursing education from Florida State University’s College of Nursing.
