Glen Jenewein, PhD
Glen Jenewein spent 13 years in the U.S. Navy as a communications officer and was instrumental in establishing communications from the South Pole to Paramus, New Jersey, for the National Science Foundation.
He most recently worked at Clark College, located in Vancouver, Washington, as the Director of eLearning. Mr. Jenewein was also a full-time professor at Portland Community College, in Portland, Oregon, where he taught in the computer information systems program and served as the chair of the department.
On a personal level, Glen has been learning about vintage tractors and restoring some older tractors he owns. Recently, he was awarded first place at the Clark County Fair for the restoration he completed on his limited edition 1929 Massey Ferguson tractor.
Mr. Jenewein had been an adjunct at Purdue Global (formerly Kaplan University) since 2003 prior to accepting a full-time faculty position in the School of Business and Information Technology in March of 2007.
He continually focuses on ways to enhance the student experience in all his classes with the use of new technology. Glen has been researching and presenting at national conferences on the convergence and impact of video elements in the online learning environment.
