Laura Woods serves as assistant dean of curriculum and is responsible for the definition, development, monitoring, maintenance, revision, and quality of all courses and programs of study within the School of Health Sciences.
She began her career at Purdue Global (formerly Kaplan University) in 2009 as an adjunct science instructor in the School of General Education and then became a curriculum manager for the School of Health Sciences in 2012. Prior to joining Purdue Global, Mrs. Woods worked as a secondary science instructor and peer trainer at an urban public high school.
Mrs. Woods holds a Master of Science in Education/Instructional Technology from Kaplan University (now Purdue Global) as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching with a biology focus from Brown University. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Studies from Maine Maritime Academy.
