Christine Hollander

Christine Hollander serves as a faculty member in the medical assistant program department. To maximize student success, she provides a student-centered learning environment, imparting her knowledge and real-world experiences. Mrs. Hollander is also responsible for recommending program and course changes to ensure the material is current, relevant, and engaging. The School of Health Sciences presented her with the 2015 MVP Award for her efforts to better the Medical Assistant Certificate program and enhance student success.

She has been a Certified Medical Assistant for over 30 years working in the clinical and office manager capacities and as a faculty member educating new medical assistants has been her passion for the last 20 plus years. Holding the honor of American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) 2013 Past President, her further involvement with the AAMA includes serving as the current State President for Colorado and volunteering as a site surveyor for Continuing Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

Mrs. Hollander holds a Master of Science in Higher Education from Purdue Global (formerly Kaplan University), a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Management and an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Assistant from Denver Institute of Technology.
