Paige M. Erickson
Paige M. Erickson has been teaching in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences with Purdue Global (formerly Kaplan University) for 5 years. A Colorado native, Paige has a bachelor’s degree in English and philosophy, a master’s degree in playwriting and a master’s degree in philosophy. She enjoys hiking, reading, writing, and spending time with her family, especially her two nieces.
She also enjoys traveling and has lived in Austria, Croatia, and Turkey. She writes three posts a week for her a creative nonfiction blog: The Nice Thing About Strangers.
Paige feels that the humanities subjects are an opportunity for students to reignite their ability to dream. She believes students in all career fields can find in the humanities a chance to reflect on their path, an opportunity to delight in creativity, and the prospect to see the world around them with a more compassionate perspective.
