Linda Deaver has taught for Purdue Global (formerly Kaplan University) for 6 years. She received a PhD in Humanities with an emphasis on the History of Ideas from the University of Texas at Dallas. Her areas of expertise are moral philosophy, literary criticism, and feminist theory, and her research focuses on how women’s voices have helped change the moral discussion in Western Tradition. She has taught humanities, ethics, and literature for many years at the university level as an online instructor and in the traditional classroom. She currently lives in Carrollton, Texas and her interests include creative writing and animal rescue.
