Katherine Oneil is a composition professor at Purdue Global. She is passionate about helping students succeed. She has a PhD in educational policy and leadership with a focus on policy in teacher education and educational psychology. Her master’s degree is in teaching and learning: language, literacy, and culture. Katherine also has a Bachelor of Arts in English. Her research interests include the use of technology with developmental learners and adult learning theories. Katherine’s dissertation is a quantitative analysis of the use of case studies to improve developing sense of teacher efficacy for the application of motivation theories in pre-service teachers. She currently teaches composition courses at Purdue Global but also has experience teaching developmental reading, writing, and math courses.
