Eric Holmes is a full-time faculty member in the composition department at Purdue Global (formerly Kaplan University). He holds master's degrees in writing from Portland State University and in speech communication from the University of South Dakota. His academic interests include rhetoric, folklore, public speaking, and horror as a genre. He has published several articles in The International Journal of Comic Art and The Oregon English Journal as well as a chapter in the book Dexter and Philosophy. He lives in Portland, Oregon.
