Carolyn N. Stevenson
Carolyn is a full-time faculty member in the Open College division of the School of General Education at Purdue Global. She has worked for the University (formerly Kaplan University) since 2004 in teaching and administrative roles.
She teaches the PR499: Bachelor’s Capstone in Professional Studies and facilitates the four professional competency tutorials for the BSPR students. Additionally, she assisted in developing the capstone course and the tutorials. She also worked on the curriculum team that developed the liberal studies, professional studies, and communication degrees. In her role as faculty advisor, she assists BSPR students in developing an individualized learning plan and provides students with resources needed to earn credit for their courses.
Carolyn lives in the west loop section of Chicago, IL and has an 18-year-old daughter who will be attending the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA in fall 2016. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, traveling, and bike riding. Her most recent trip was a people-to-people arts and cultural tour of Cuba in April 2016.
