Barbara Green

Barbara Green has been writing and teaching for the last 16 years. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Master of Arts in English with an emphasis in creative writing, and a Master of Science in Instruction Design with an emphasis in adult learning. Working to connect with and help students and supporting faculty are Barbara's passions. Born of that passion, and with the help of enthusiastic colleagues, Barbara began the Purdue Global Parenting Blog, which touches on all manner of parenting topics in the hopes of offering help, support, and camaraderie to all working parents. She also helms Capstone, Purdue Global’s internal literary journal. Currently, Barbara is the assistant chair in the Composition Department.

In addition to her love of working in academia, Barbara has also enjoyed being a working writer. Her arts and entertainment and food writing have been featured locally and nationally. Barbara lives in the Sonoran Desert with her husband, son, daughter, and two dogs.
