Joyce Boone

Dr. Joyce Boone has over 20 years of service and leadership in nonprofit, organizational, and teaching arenas. Her passion is empowering adults through continuing and higher education and workforce training and development. Joyce resides in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, area.

Dr. Boone is a member of the American Management Association, National Association of Professional Women, and American Educational Research Association. She is a reviewer for the International Journal of Educational Management. She has been a presenter at the Online Teaching Conference (in Oceanside, California) and her articles on adult education and management topics have been published in scholarly journals including the Journal of International Business Education and the Information Management and Business Review journal. Other areas of interest in the field include: knowledge transfer, training transfer, management ethics, and critical soft skills development in research and practice.
