Mr. Aaron Hochanadel is a full-time faculty member in the School of Business and Information Technology. He has over 7 years of sales experience in the home health and pharmaceuticals industries. He has been a member of the American Management Association since 2007. His current research interest is in classroom motivation for first-term students. He has been with Purdue Global (formerly Kaplan University) since 2005 and won the 2015 Outstanding Faculty Award.
A lifelong advocate for students, Mr. Hochanadel was diagnosed with dyslexia in the sixth grade. No stranger to the daily struggle with reading, spelling, and grammar that is all too familiar to so many with learning disabilities, Mr. Hochanadel’s experiences prompted him to devote much of his life to ensuring that students of all kinds know that they can and will succeed.
Mr. Hochanadel currently lives in the Kansas City area with his wife and four children. He enjoys running on a regular basis, and ran two half-marathons in back-to-back months in 2010.
"Mr. Hochanadel is one of the presenters for the new Student Success Seminars. These webinars are held the day before a term start to help new students relieve jitters by showing them the classroom, the type of support we provide them during their studies, and answering any last minute questions they may have.”
