HR Certification Preparation Course
The Des Moines campus is pleased to announce its partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world's largest association devoted to human resource management, to offer courses to help HR professionals prepare for SHRM's competency-based certification: the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP®) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP®) credentials.
Utilizing the preparation tools from SHRM, our courses are designed to help professionals prepare for the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP exams.*
SHRM Prep Course at Purdue Global in Urbandale, Iowa
The cost of the course is $1,299, which includes all materials and online access to the SHRM Learning System.© The Des Moines campus is located at: 4655 121st Street, Urbandale, Iowa.

Who Should Enroll in This Course?
This certification preparation course is designed primarily for those seeking SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification. According to SHRM, certification is a great choice for HR professionals who seek to:

The following general eligibility criteria, listed below, also apply:
- Applicants must show that they have worked in an HR role for more than 1,000 hours within a calendar year, which equates to 1 year of experience.
- HR experience may be in an HR exempt or nonexempt capacity.
- HR experience may be classified directly, as working in an HR role, or indirectly, by consulting, educating or researching HR practices linked specifically to human resource management.
- SHRM membership is not required.
